10 Miles Today
Walked to Janie's in Canyon Creek this morning. On the way home, one of my Altrusa girlfriends was on her front porch and so I stopped to visit for a minute. I only went two houses further, when teammate Alice called out my name, so I made a u-turn and we chatted for a few minutes. As I then walked closer to my house, I stopped to visit with neighbor Lisa and her two lovely daughters. In just two weeks, Lisa will have her last chemo treatment for breast cancer. It's been a long, hard road, but the end is now in sight for her. Lisa, you're almost there!

All-in-all, I walked just 10 sweaty hot miles today. It was so humid, it seemed like 20.... maybe tonite's rain will help cool things down a bit.
