Went to Yoga today. Was a nice hour and a half stretch..... I have to wonder if I'll ever be as limber as the senior ladies in my class. A few times, I just had to laugh at myself as some of these poses were surely never meant for human beings!

Went 2.5 miles in the neighborhood then my friend Linda came over and we walked to the post office and back that added another 4.5 miles. So, 7 miles total. And, we found a penny on the street, so now I'm up to 6 "training cents"!!! You might find it interesting that my normal sidewalk path on Arapaho is all torn up and under construction. Maybe I wore it out with all my walking? :o) Nahhhh.....
When I got home from walking it was noon and I thought my dental appointment was at 1:30p.m. Well, it was for 1:00 p.m. I had to quickly decide on whether to just put on make up or take a shower.
I thought my dentist would appreciate the shower more, so that's what I did. I told her about it and she just laughed. She's a pretty neat dentist too (and I'm not a good dental patient either). I haven't gone to her long (she took over my retired dentists practice) and I was quite surprised this a.m. when she personally called me to see how I was doing. (She started a crown on one of my teeth yesterday). Can't say I've ever had a dentist call me at home before. I think she's a keeper!

No walking again today either. Ran errands and got the garage door down just as the downpour started.
Went to Teddy Bear Time at 7:00 p.m. at Terrace Elementary School. Read the Hawaiian version of "Old McDonald Had a Farm" to the five year-olds. Funny too as they didn't pay any attention to the Hawaiian animals like the parrot or crab. Instead, they just wanted to sing "Old McDonald Had a Farm". Bet this song is now going through your head too!
Before we started I got to visit with an 8-year old sibling. I asked him what his favorite subject was in school and his face lit up as he said "math"!! I then asked him why math and he said he like multiplication and division. When I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up, he said a doctor. And, so I asked him what kind of doctor and he said an eye doctor. How neat is that? Can't say that math was high on my list when I was 8!
