Today was not Walking as well
I ended up working on my Altrusa stuff and some other things today. Started out this a.m. at my internist's office for a blood letting (he is soooo persistent in that). Then went to my gastroenterologist for a check up. We kind of made a deal. He will try to make my 20 year surviving celebration and in exchange, I will try to remember to take the meds he has prescribed. What a deal! Also went to my Richardson Adult Literacy Center board meeting. Seems like I sighned up to attent a conference in Austin this June...... oh well.... I think I should rather enjoy it.

No walking today... perhaps tomorrow. Maybe not.... I'm meeting with a writer from the DMN on my cancer journey. Maybe this is yet another way to help fellow survivors. Isn't that what life is all about anyway..... helping others?

Monday, May 14th, 2007 - No walking
Well, I decided that I needed a day away from walking.... spent the day doing volunteer work especially for Altrusa. I said I'd do the "save the date" cards for the Outstanding Women of Today luncheon this fall. Well, Excel, Word and I went round and round until I finally won. Sort of. Then, our printer was beyond evil. I surrender. I've decided to try to print everything at my mom's place. Keep your fingers crossed!
