Yesterday (Sunday) was my official "rest" day.
Today (Monday), I got to The Heart Hospital in Plano around7:45 a.m. to be there for my good friend. Her husband was scheduled for a triple by-pass that turned into more extensive surgery as his mitral valve needed to be replaced also. After many hours and an assurance that all was going well, we headed out for lunch at 2:30 p.m. While walking through the garage, I noticed a license plate that read TKR FXR. This car, no doubt, belongs to one of the surgeons who has a good sense of humor!
It was about 6:00 p.m. when I finally got home and Richard was so kind to take me out to dinner after such a long day. We went to Aboca's and Arthur, the owner, told us that the very same thing happened to his CPA last Saturday. How ironic. I did ask Arthur if his CPA had already finished his '06 tax return and Arthur said yes. Good timing, eh?
Tomorrow I plan to start yoga for my cross training (will add water aerobics when it gets hot) .... yet another new adventure begins!
