From 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today: 4 women, 1 woman carrying a 30 pound back pack and 3 big dogs walked 11 miles. Great day.... weather was terrific! I was feeling guilty about leaving poor little Bogie behind, so when I got home, I took him on a 2.5 mile walk around the neighborhood. So, 13.5 total miles logged for the day.... My legs were a big sore, so I fired up the jacuzzi and used some of those bath salts I got at Whole Foods a few weeks ago. Good as new now!

Oh yes, about the lady carrying the 30 pound back pack. She and her family are going to hike a mountain this summer. I think she said McKinley. Anyway, she's joining us to train for this other adventure. I got to visit with her quite a bit on today's walk and found out that her family takes pretty impressive family trips that have included hiking in Africa and scuba diving.
