Spent the morning with a lovely lady who, although, does not have breast cancer, did test positive for BRCA 1. She is a delightful, intelligent and couragous woman who has chosen a bi-lateral mastectomy and oopherectomy (ovary removal) to avoid a potential breast cancer diagnosis. I just know she will fly through these upcoming surgeries. She has rooted out the top doctors, done extensive research and reached out to me as someone who has recently been down this road. I admire her. And, this is for you my new friend: Remember, I am but a phone call away.

Oh yes, I did 3 miles of "sneakers & sidewalks" today with Bogie trotting right along beside me. (Of course where else could he be, he was tethered to a leash :o)
