No walking again today, darn it. Instead, I went for an upper endoscopy. Test went well for the most part. When I got rolled into the "procedure room", I heard the music of Stevie Ray Vaughn and asked Mr. Sandman if that was his choice. He said , no, actually the gastroenterologist doctor is the one who prefers classic rock. Would love to have stayed awake to listen, but I went from fully awake to "gone" in about 3 seconds flat. You know, it is soooo cold in those rooms and all I could think is where are all those "hot flashes" when you need 'em? I shall suggest to this doc that he schedules these procedures between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. for women over 50; when hot flashes are really cookin'!
On the way home, I had Richard take us to Atlanta Bread Company; I was craving a tuna on wheat and it was deeelicioius! Then, awhile after we got home, I started feeling a bit crappy. Could it have been the "therapeutic" half dozen Girl Scout thin mints I also ate? Surely not :o)
Tomorrow I'll hit the sidewalks even if it rains.
